Judging by the mixed reaction on this, as well as other on-topic threads, I'd say they failed miserably to get this across (if this was truly their intention). If an add fails to get it's message across to the majority of viewers, as this one did, and if people have to purposely defend it, that's far from genius.
Very perceptive! I was very disturbed by the ad, however after reading some of the comments am willing to consider perhaps it was just too high brow for me. I just don't get it.
