On the contrary. The argument is over here. Since Grizzled Bear called me into a completely different thread with the slander of "Here’s your chance to promote perversion!" the conversation has mainly been about me, my past postings and a wondering of how I could have survived for more than a decade on FR. The issue of gays in the Military that started it has been secondary at best.

There were exactly two short comments made in reference to my past postings and a wondering of how I could have survived for more than a decade on FR. The rest, far more, were about gays serving in the military and your inconsistencies in reasoning ability.

I guess we can add to that cluelessness, or a denial of reality if you can't count.

Your posting history bears out GB's comments.

You can survive 10 years holding the positions you do here by not posting frequently as you have(n't). It's not hard to fly under the radar when your last three pages of posting history go back well over a year.

But they don’t force them to house together.

You are missing the point completely.

Back to our regularly scheduled programming....

GLSEN founder Kevin Jennings has been “queering” public schools for years. Supposedly to help kids struggling with homosexual desires feel “safe”. But Jennings didn’t limit his target group to homosexual teens. He wanted to include what he calls “questioning youth”. GLSEN’s “ Try it. You just might like it.” Target group.

IOW, he's recruiting.

He doesn't need to bother with those who decided they are.

He's not going to bother with those who definitely aren't (not worth the risk of lawsuits from parents, no doubt).

So he goes after the ones who are uncertain and don't have good relationships with their parents and are not likely to complain to anyone. If they're starved for attention, they're going to be very vulnerable.

What scum he is, preying on them like that.

Apologies to scum......

Judge John Martaugh, chief magistrate of the New York City Criminal Court has said, “Homosexuals account for half the murders in large cities”

Either as perpetrators or victims, this sounds unlikely. In any case it has been 50 years since John Murtagh was Chief Magistrate of the New York City Criminal Court.

Does a link make the post more legitimate? Just asking. I have not posted for a while until recently.

Does a link make the post more legitimate?

Yeah, it kind of does. It gives it more credibility for one thing.

It's expected that one provide a link so that people can go to the source document to look up more information if they want, instead of the having to do a google search to find it. There's a field for it in the page where you post the thread.

You can ask the mods to provide the link if you forget, or whatever.

BTW, it’s a great article and something that needs to be seen.

Thanks for posting it.

I did a quick google search and could not find the original article from the source you listed.

If you could find it again, you could post the link in the thread and alert the mods and ask them to add it.

“kids struggling with homosexual desires”

When you have a “kid struggling with homosexual desires” you should be making him safe from whoever has been molesting him.

What if nobody has been?

If nobody had been, he wouldn’t be having “homosexual desires” (more properly termed “a disordered compulsion to commit sodomy.”)

“As long as an individual breaks no law, that individual deserves the same freedom and rights as anyone else living without breaking the law.”

So, a severly decompensated, hallucinating, delusional schizophrenic should be able to, oh, say practice medicine? Pilot a passenger plane? Work in a biological warfare research facility?

Same-sex attraction disorder is a mental illness. As with any mental illness, those who suffer from it need not break a law before action can be taken.

Not just the military, but any position of responsibility, and any position in which the SSAD patient can become a role model, should be right out.

Well in this case the link was me and I do not have a website.
I do research and have had a bit of my research published on this issue. You can purchase Jennings “Respect for All” like i had to do if you want to verify for yourself. I have been very vocal about GLSEN and Jennings and the “books” he pushes. In my earlier post I give you the book titles and the page numbers. If you need further verification, and I don’t blame you, you can purchase the books. You can google the Seattle Times, Seattle Post Intelligencer, The New York Times, Seattle Gay News, GLSEN etc to verify that I have worked on this issue here in Seattle.

Day three. -sigh-

What positions are those metmom? Please, if I'm getting tossed under the bus for WrongThink, I really think I deserve to know. A list please, by issue category. With a bonus acknowledgement that this conversation has indeed devolved to be about me.

BTW, I do 'Get it'. This is a cultural change, and as such contains far more emotion than a normal everyday political issue. It consists of cultural mores of sexual and nudity, guaranteed to bring on a lively discussion.

I see.

What I’ve seen some people do in that case is put down *self* as the source.

You do want to be careful about compromising your screen name, though, if that’s a concern to you.

I don’t doubt what you posted and I don’t have any reason to. It was just an observation that that is one of the reasons for posting links.

Again, it’s a good thread and needs to be seen. Thanks for posting it.

You are late to this dsc, the subject was gays in the military, skipped into this thread that I've not addressed at all since I was brought in here with a personal insult and has now evolved into my qualification and privilege to post here at all because I disagree with the prevailing GroupThink on at least one issue.

Please keep up.

“Please keep up.”

Count your blessings. If I had read more carefully, I wouldn’t have been nearly as polite.

That said, I saw something I wanted to comment on, so I did. That’s what goes on here. And I think I’m quite up to date on that.
