Jim and Mitch have proven themselves to be highly intelligent, engaging combatants who have actually responded to the needs of their respective constituents with initiatives that have weakened the opposition. Minnie Pearl's pseudopopulist babble may have fooled those who are easily swayed by rhetoric and the need to have our own celebutard candidate, but they won't sway those outside of the cult, at least not for long.
