Ayatollah: Iran's military will 'punch' West
The Washington Times ^ | February 9, 2010 | Eli Lake

The Iranian government on Monday stepped up military threats in advance of an anniversary celebration as major powers continued talks on a new round of sanctions.

Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said in Tehran that his country would stun the Western world on Thursday, the 31st anniversary of Iran's Islamic revolution. Iran's defense minister announced on Monday that its forces had conducted successful tests on new armed unmanned aircraft and advanced air defenses.

"The Iranian nation, with its unity and God's grace, will punch the arrogance [Western powers] on the 22nd of Bahman [Feb. 11] in a way that will leave them stunned," Ayatollah Khamenei was quoted as saying by Agence France-Presse.

I expect some sort of demonstration, maybe even a nuclear detonation, not an attack. Of course, if they attack they’ll be doing us a huge favor. The politicians will have to face the problem.

Even Hitler had enough political savvy to stage (unconvincingly) Polish aggression against Germany.

As I posted on a different thread , I have been saying this for 2 years . History will show that not stopping a nuclear Iran will be THE biggest mistake of the 21st century .We were warned time and time again. The bastards are telling us right to our faces
‘we’re going to get nukes and we’re going to use them”. What the hell more does the world need to hear ?
Yet, the liberal numb skulls of Europe and the USA just sit , watch and send scolding letters when the situation gets hot.
Only the Jews will have the balls to do what needs to be done for the survival of the West.Once they do that the whole world will be against them ,including King Obama the Muslim .

I bet they got a new motor for the Iranian Navy rowboat.

I’d agree on some kind of show. Perhaps the (inert) warheads for a nuclear missile.

[Familyop: Such an attack may be months or years ahead of us, but this is a good time to think and plan for the future. The following should clear up some of the sponsored oinking from anti-American, special interests needing cheap freight fuel.]

THREAT POSED BY ELECTROMAGNETIC PULSE (EMP) TO U.S. MILITARY SYSTEMS AND CIVIL INFRASTRUCTURE

House of Representatives,

Committee on National Security,

Military Research and Development Subcommittee,

Washington, DC, Wednesday, July 16, 1997.

[Excerpt:]

STATEMENT OF DR. GARY L. SMITH, DIRECTOR, APPLIED PHYSICS LABORATORY, JOHNS HOPKINS UNIVERSITY
[...]
Dr. SMITH.
[...]
The Applied Physics Lab operates under about a dozen task order contracts with a number of major sponsors, covering between 200 and 300 separate tasks in any given year. All of our funding is derived from programs. We have no line-item support. About 80 percent of our funding comes from sponsors within the Department of Defense, and about 15 percent from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
[...]
Note that a burst on the order of 500 kilometers in altitude can cover the entire continental United States.

Mr. WELDON. What strength burst would that be?

Dr. SMITH. It is not terribly burst-strength dependent; almost any burst will produce that kind of radiation. The strength of the field will change at the various radii from the burst point, but it will cover the same area regardless of the strength of the burst.

Can’t wait to see their press releases once hostilities break out. They will claim to have destroyed our entire Navy at least 3X per week. Their leaders will unabasedly declare the war won when Iran is a smoking ruin.

Yeppers! That’s the real threat. An Iranian low earth orbit/ polar-inclined orbit, satellite on a peaceful scientific mission begins to have a decaying orbit.

The “peaceful” satellite’s gamma intensive warhead detonates over St. Louis when its altitude is ‘just right’.

No more life as you knew it.

One second after ...

It was that book that caused me to finally break down and get a hand cannon (Sig P-220 45 ACP), combat shooting training, plenty of ammo for it and the long guns, multiple bug-out kits, and 30 days’ supplies.

Just like out-running the grizzly, we don’t have to be prepared to live the longest, we just have to be prepared to outlive “them”.

BTW, a metal trash can with lid on a concrete floor is a decent Farraday cage. Also grounding your old Jeep will greatly increase its chances of operating after an EMP pulse. Have the grounding rod go ALL the way into moist earth.
