Meghan McCains scheduled GW appearance is the latest to fall victim to Snowmageddon.
McCains speech at the Jack Morton Auditorium Tuesday night has been postponed due to the blizzard-like conditions predicted this week for the D.C. area, one of the events sponsors said Monday night.
The event will be rescheduled later this semester, according to a press release from the Graduate School of Political Management Student Association. It did not offer details about honoring tickets already distributed for Feb. 9th.
McCain is the daughter of former Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain. Her appearance sparked controversy last month when the College Republicans withdrew their financial support after the event was billed as the keynote speech for Allied in Prides Marriage Equality Week.
Those lucky kids at GW.
I like this “global warming”. It succesfully made Meghan McCain to finally STFU for even a moment.
Thats like terrible news thats like really bad.
Who died and let this bitch in? What an empty headed, spoon fed intelligent idiot. The comment that got me was Revolution is for the young not for the people 65 and over! “Im a progressive republican”. Someone told her she has a lot to say....is anyone listening? I thought so! Go spend some of daddys money and keep your yap shut!
No questions from the media concerning disbursement of Chubby’s speaking fee? How much is she getting, and just what will she be doing with the money? Hmmmm..?
Guess she’ll have to stay home and console herself with Cheetos and Hagen Daz.
The money will go to McCain’s pals at La Raza.
You would think a walrus would like the snow.
Postponed due to Pizza more likely.
My dog doesn’t like to go out in this kind of weather either.
Every blizzard has a silver lining
Man oh man. We need to build spaceships and send these idiots to the actual planet they think they are living on. They certainly are not living on this planet.
And her qualifications for speaking at an institute of higher learning are?
Oh, right, she rode on a campaign bus and she blogs.
Ah, terrible, terrible news!
