I am sorry I missed the Super Bowl because I was on my way back from Israel. Congratulations to the New Orleans Saints for a great win and the Colts for an otherwise great season.
Now that I am back, I have seen some of the Super Bowls commercials and one of them caught my eye.
A car company had a commercial that had an interesting reference to Green Police giving people tickets for their lifestyle choices. For some of us thats not too far of a stretch for a government growing bigger and bigger by the day under this administration and this Congress.
In fact the Cap and Trade legislation passed by the House (really Cap and Tax) would have some form of a green cop in order to monitor companies. Its a terrible bill and one that would cut into businesses large and small. At a time when we need new jobs, why would we try and penalize the job creators?
Well no one said this Congress was smart
What we really need is a cop to rein this Congress and administration in. Someone or something to check their power grab and protect the taxpayers of this nation who don't want their hopes and dreams crippled by a burdensome national debt.
I believe our best chance to stop the madness are the critical November elections.
I am personally committed to criss-crossing this nation campaigning for strong conservative candidates who support lower taxes, balanced budgets, life, marriage and a strong national defense. Huck PAC has already endorsed 23 candidates and I plan to campaign for as many of them as I can.
Today I would like you to commit with me and agree to send these candidates to Washington and their state governments.
For February we have set a goal of 3,000 donors to Huck PAC. We are looking for 3,000 individuals willing to make a donation of $5 or more before the end of the month and commit to reining in this administration and Congress.
Will you commit?
Each dollar you contribute towards our efforts will be spent directly on candidate support and funding our growing, grassroots volunteer organization Team Huck.
Remember, as the President likes to say, change starts with each of us. Hes right
The ability to stop his backward policies starts with us.
Passing a constitutional amendment protecting the unborn starts with us.
Balancing the budget starts with us.
And Republicans regaining control of the Senate and the House starts with us.
I hope you will stand with me and commit to making a donation towards our February challenge.
Our volunteer team is counting on your support and so am I.
We will invest each dollar you donate in the most cost-effective manner possible.
Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Mike Huckabee

The greenpolice are here and have been for some time... I visited my aunt and uncle in 2007 in NYC , he was being fined several hundred dollars because somebody threw a loose hubcap from the street into their garbage bin ,, being metal it should have been in the recycle bin.
Nice analysis.
Dear Mike,
I missed the SB (intentionally), as well as all of the mindless commercials. Given the state of affairs in the U.S. and the rest of the world, it would seem to me that you’d be spending time on more important matters rather than writing this drivel.
SD.
A Nanny whining about the Greenies
Special...just Special....
Even Reagan called the winners of the Super Bowl while taking down the Soviet Union.
Give the “I’m a conservative-—REEEELY” crap a rest, Huckabee. You’re a dedicated RINO sell out, no different from McCain, Grahamnesty, Snow, Collins or the rest who will gladly betray actual Americans for the right “price.”
Sit your RINO butt down.
Shut up.
That is all.
L
Mike Huckabee is not Reagan.
No, but Ronaldus Magnus watched the Super Bowl, it is OK for the rest of us :)
It would be okay for me if the NFL would stop handpicking the SB teams.
