Think Big Work Small ^

Posted on 02/11/2010 11:07:07 AM PST by Comstock1

This is a video explanation of why a lot of people are not getting refinanced and some banks are laughing all the way to foreclosure. If this doesn't make your blood boil you need to check your pulse!

How many other sweetheart deals like this are out there? The Treasury Dept. needs to end the revolving door between it and investment bankers.

I hope all the idiots flaming me for my hatred of banks watch this video.

It’s but one example of how you working-class saps are getting SCREWED ROYALLY by banks.

A banker will kill millions of you dead, then comb through the mouths of your corpses in search of gold fillings.

They are the elite, your “financial superiors” as one fine FReeper told me a while back. They view you as stupid, lazy sheep, ripe for the plucking.

Right now, you have two would-be masters vying for control of your leash, the hard-left and bankers.

Wow! Yet, not one word of this in the media. Why isn’t their a investigation? Why is there no one screaming about this? All of Congress knows this is going on, yet I hear nothing but crickets. And to think that there is two different political parties and none from either side is outraged? There is no hope.

I guess you missed the part about the government involvement.

Legalized theft. In a sane world we would have some candidates here for serious slammer time.

“They view you as stupid, lazy sheep, ripe for the plucking.”

So, they forced you to take a loan then, huh?

...They view you as stupid, lazy sheep, ripe for the plucking.

While I agree with what you're saying, you're mixing your metaphors. You don't pluck sheep. :-)

“So, they forced you to take a loan then, huh?”

I have exactly zero debt.

I know the difference between capitalism and criminality, free markets and a free-for-all for bankers.

“You don’t pluck sheep.”

No, you sure don’t.

My fingers mix ‘em up sometimes, ‘specially when I’m mad.

In these enlightened times, sheep plucking is no less moral than bunny hopping or turkey shearing.

Right now, you have two would-be masters vying for control of your leash, the hard-left and bankers.

And what is your solution?

I'll watch it at home.
We were turned down for a refi in 2009 after being told it was a slam dunk sure thing, our credit rating was great, and just a few lose ends to wrap up, and then bam we get a letter - Sorry Charlie no can do.
We could of used that refi to pay off dept so we could stimulate the economy again, but the money was only going to first time home buyers who could not afford the houses they were getting into.

My solution has been implemented, a long time ago. I use banks very little for my business, and only when I have no other choice.

If more people did what I do there is no way in hell these rotten bastards could rape Americans like they do.

The outrageous bank fees alone should be enough to cause a consumer revolt. Let alone the more complex schemes they have in place.

For far too many, ‘banker’ means proud American capitalist.

Bank Bailouts and Sweet Heart Deals

Nothing like insider trading and the benefits of being ‘Friends of Government,” while the mmmmm, mmmmm, mmmmph, “get even with-them-ism” and economically ignorant crowd believe getting the so called rich is about anybody making one more dollar than they do consider themselves exempt. What they don’t get is what the government does to one they can do to all. The sweet spot for taxes upon business and citizenry is where the majority of taxable dollars are, think Laffer Curve, that being low-middle to upper-middle income class not the rich, think of all the taxes and fees not just income; for the rich have structured their income brackets as profit centers…as demonstrated in the video clip.
