THis is great news, and the best thing that could have happened out of this bipartisan attempt.
GOP gets credit for working with democrats, and Reid gets pegged again with ignoring months of effort just to placate his far-left base.
And the GOP can attack Obama for not controlling his own party.
And we don’t get a stupid “bipartisan” jobs bill.
Agreed. It’s win - win. Plus the gop now has an excuse to vote against everything the Dems throw up, health care, cap ‘n tax, card chex, etc. Hope they use it.
