And I can respond
Debra Medina says
I was asked a question on the Glenn Beck show today regarding my thoughts on the so-called 9/11 truth movement. I have never been involved with the 9/11 truth movement, and there is no doubt in my mind that Muslim terrorists flew planes into those buildings on 9/11. I have not seen any evidence nor have I ever believed that our government was involved or directed those individuals in any way. No one can deny that the events on 9/11 were a tragedy for all Americans and especially those families who lost loved ones.
I have never heard a 9/11 truther say this
OK, fair enough for me Roy.
Matters not what she says after the fact: if she's not a "Truther" whackjob, she is dangerously incompetent when it comes to thinking about an interview question, and were she to have been the GOP nominee, ANY Dimocrat would cream her in a debate - even that goofy muzzie from Houston!
I’m heading out of town but wanted to check at FR to see the fallout from Medina’s interview yesterday. Like everyone who was listening, I was shocked to hear the question come up (definitely seems like an ambush) but more shocked to hear Medina’s response.
Seems to me she is aware of truthers supporting her and even somewhere on her staff. She apparently was trying to answer honestly so I give her some credit for that..but after reading her denial/statement above, I tend to believe her. Still, to fail to clearly deny the charge on a national stage was a terrible stumble and short of a miracle, has derailed her campaign.
I am going to give it some time before I make a decision on Medina. I share the sadness with all who had such high hopes for Medina’s plans to put government back in its place.
Have a blessed weekend. Let’s remember that at our core we all want the best for our state and our nation.
