The switch brought sharp accusations of reneging from Republicans who thought they had a deal, jeopardizing a brief attempt at bipartisan lawmaking. Does this mean we accused them of letting Obama seize control of the process?

The bigger bill got a decidedly mixed reception at a luncheon meeting of Democrats, many of whom were uncomfortable with supporting a bill containing so many provisions unrelated to creating jobs, including loans for chicken producers and aid to catfish farmers.Contrary to the way the author made this sound, both provisions were inserted by Democrats.

Senate Democrats to GOP Senators-SUCKERS!
And Obama is going to do the same thing to the House GOP members if they show up for his 'summit'

Here's a bipartisan "jobs" initiative that I think most Americans will support: vote all of these clowns out of their jobs. Replace them with people who pledge to dramatically cut federal spending, reduce costly regulations, eliminate taxes on capital formation, and in all other respects simply get the hell out of our way.

When picking up the Bill to debate, it was heavily laden with pork fat.

Harry just keeps digging.

It’s bipartisan only because Silly Senator Grassley supported it. One Republican supports a Dimocrat bill and it’s bipartisan.

Repubs need to figure this out. They are being scammed over and over again.
It IS laden with pork, just no Republican pork.

ANYONE WHO THINKS WE ARE NOT IN A SPIRITUAL WAR IS MISGUIDED AND NAIVE. AS FAR BACK AS THE 1950’S THE BAD HUYS WERE WINNING. UNLESS THE PEOPLE TURN BACK TO THE ONE TRUE GOD, OUR ALMIGHTY TRIUNE CREATOR, AMERICA WILL BE HISTORY.

PUBs need to walk out. Come back when LIBs are serious about governing.
Isn’t it true that at least one member of the minority party must be present to constitute a quorum and conduct business?
