If abstinence is an unattainable goal, how does the left expect repealing ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ is going to work?
My friend’s Mom was a college prof. who told her students, “You’d be able to stop if your parents walked in. Don’t tell me you just can’t control your passion.”
Self control is not impossible and she was so tired of young adults being treated as though they were animals in heat. She didn’t understand why her students weren’t offended by that sort of treatment.
At its core are a rejection of both the idea of God and the concept of an ultimate right and wrong. Liberals want to believe that God does not exist so that they are free to live as they please. They bristle at the very thought that there is an ultimate Authority telling them what they should and should not do.
The left is doing the bidding of their ideological “father”, whether they are doing it purposefully is up for debate.
Abstinence until marriage and marriage for life are God’s will for human sexuality. Of course His enemy does everything he can to thwart that will here in his principality.
The lies told in Gen 3:4-5 are still with us -
you can be like God, knowing/deciding right and wrong for yourself.

The left hates abstinences simply because it presumes we are not simply animals and we have control over our urges and desires... this flies in the face of the siccophants and malcontents who let their base desires rule their lives, often to destructive ends.
To accept the notion that we are not a slave to our desires is completely unacceptable to the left, there entire world view is based on self gratification and feelings, the idea that those things should not rule our every action is blasphemy to them.
Rom 1:29-32
29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents;

Is it any wonder they hate the book of Romans?
That’s no “obscure” passage either.
It’s very clear.
It’s an uphill battle to make sure kids and adults stay on the right course. Too many identify with this evil or are EMPATHETIC to evil. Humanism often replaces Christianity.
Leftists don’t like to be reminded that they are spiritually and morally bankrupt. They want to feel guiltless over their hedonism.
The ideological Left does not understand the concept of self-control, because they don’t possess it themselves. Their motto is live like hell, do unto others and then split.
Remember "if it feels good, do it"??? They have created a generation of narcissists, and then wonder why they have such rebellion when a group of self-absorbed young people give them the Up Yours?

There was a movement in 2004 and 2008 to withhold sex if the girls’ partner wouldn’t pledge to vote Democrat.
Seems they can say “no”.
Sex Education is equivalent to giving a classroom full of middle-schoolers guns and ammunition and relying on a 40-minute gun safety video to reduce fatalities.

It's like the Teen Healthy Habits program handing out packs of cigarettes, after making scrupulously sure that they all have filter tips.
Isn't that easy....deny the existence of God, instead of growing up. /sarc
It is not as easy as they want to believe. Just because they deny His existence doesn't mean He does not exist. There will be a time when they, along with everyone else, will come face to face with their Creator. It is not going to be pretty!
