Force citizens to cough up their hard earned income to fund your pet project is straight up liberalism.

What ever happened to free market. If there is enough support for Space Exploration then it should be funded by those who believe it is important, not paid for by the government collecting money under duress.

I know we all pay taxes for things we do not in any way, shape or form support. Did you do the research on all the benefits which came from space exploration? Do it.
