Forget red and blue — color America white. There was snow on the ground in 49 states Friday. Hawaii was the holdout.

It was the United States of Snow, thanks to an unusual combination of weather patterns that dusted the U.S., including the skyscrapers of Dallas, the peach trees of Atlanta and the Florida Panhandle, where hurricanes are more common than snowflakes.

More than two-thirds of the nation's land mass had snow on the ground when the day dawned yesterday, and then it snowed ever so slightly in Florida to make it 49 states out of 50.

California Sierras have a massive snow pack....

The mountain ranges surrounding the OC/LA area of California look like the Swiss Alps....

Very cool.

Down on the coastal plain of So. Cal the current weather is bright, sunny, blue skies, a mild on-shore Pacific Breeze, and 75 degrees!!!

Global Warming! We knew that the planet is cooling down so it means it must really be heating up!

The hills above West Hollywood look more like the Swish Alps.

How about white, with brown and pink dots trying to shovel the white away so they can see the black?

We took the kids sledding for the first time in their lives the other weekend. It was just 2 hours North at 7K Ft altitude. They loved it and want to go back. I may try again come March but it will probably all melt by then. February is booked but I just love this place. It never gets boring.

Usually there is snow in Hawaii this time of year on the peaks, but this year is an unusual exception because we are having a drought.

The peaks are barren of snow so far.

Coca Cola winning a taste test is proof of global warming.

A bear pooping in the woods is proof of global worming to these buffoons.
