we dropped Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas because of the constant rate increase every month after i used it. this sector is out of control and greedy beyond any reason.

I suppose the California legislature may be able to dictate to Anthem Blue Cross how much to charge but can they dictate to them to keep doing business in California?

In Wisconsin, after 6 years of paying NOTHING for Anthem Medicare supplement insurance (their cut was our agreement that 100% of our government Medicare allowance was turned over to them) this year we suddenly are getting $40 per month bills — EACH. 0 premium to $80 per couple per month. What percentage increase is that?

Are they trying to get themselves run out of business in favor of government insurance? There is no need to increase premiums by 35%. We desperately need to get rid of the anti-trust exemptions and open up every market to competition. If Anthemn Blue Cross had to compete against several different other companies, they wouldn’t pull this kinda shite.
