The Christians in Iraq may just agree with what the “Gaffer” has to say. Most of them have fled to Turkey where they are also persecuted but at a lesser extent.
The West’s mistake is that it uses Western logic and methods to solve Muslim problems. Look back in history and ask the question what the European powers accomplished in the ME right after WWI — zilch.
