My nickname in high school was Bigfoot. I’m not gonna cast stones :)
I missed it...is there any video of her?? She did the Start your engines call out?? WOW!
Yeah but she has a hottie for a hubby too!
Nor could I,,,,,,sigh!
Sarah wins the south. What's left?
Palin getting a great reception from 118,000 people. You can bet that news like this makes 0bama’s guts tie in a knot.
Tomorrow, Palin will be doing a booksigning event, followed by a speech to the Daytona Beach Chamber of Commerce. They originally scheduled the event in a hotel dining room, but because of the demand for tickets, they’ve moved it to a convention/sports center with a capacity of about 15,000. On Tuesday Palin will be addressing a gop fundraiser in N. Little Rock AR at the Verizon Center, capacity 18,000. From what I’ve heard ticket sales for both events have been very good, I suspect both will be record breakers.
Not many mature gals can. My wife could 40 years ago. LOL
Liberal reporters never think or look above the waist.
You have a good point. Maybe NASCAR should switch to right turns.
I love that way liberals break out in hives over Sarah.
Could you imagine how many of their drivers would need serious adjustment time for that?
Danica Patrick is use to crashing on both left and right turns.
We all have designer jeans but we get them from Goodwill.
I hear she really enjoys getting bumped by the other 50 drivers. /sarc
I loved reading how she was popular with the drivers and the crews, how one of the crew on the track was stunned to see her there and then immediately vowed “if you run for president, you’ve got my vote”, and how she stopped to talk to the boy in the wheel chair. Great and rare reporting on a genuine good person, Sarah Palin.

From article:
She took a seat up front next to Harry Connick Jr., who sang the national anthem for the race. When NASCAR president Mike Helton acknowledged her as a special guest, she got the largest ovation from the room, packed from the front to the back with drivers, team members, support personnel and onlookers.
After sitting through the meeting, Palin could not get out the door. Fans mobbed her, asking for pictures and autographs. Her 12-person entourage, comprised of track security, a policeman, friends and spokespeople, tried to get her to the door and to her next appearance. But Palin could not help herself, and kept signing and posing for pictures.
Even when she was able to get out the door, she stopped every few feet to take pictures. One fan asked where her husband, Todd, was on Valentine's Day. Palin said he couldn't make it because he's in Alaska preparing for the Iron Dog, the world's longest snow-mobile race.

She's being really savvy .. LOL
Palin will attend the Daytona 500 this weekend, and on Sunday will give a speech to the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce's annual dinner. On March 12, she will speak to the Orange County Republican Committee's Lincoln Day Dinner. Tickets to the Daytona event, which is sold out, cost $150. The Orange County event has a ticket price of $250.
The media is not allowed in, and audio or video recording equipment are not allowed; if reporters do wish to see the speech, they would have to buy tickets, and take notes on paper. These conditions were set by Palin's agents, not by the sponsors. "These are the terms of the contract that were presented to us," said Orange County Republican Party Chairman Lew Oliver.

Thousands to hear her speak today.
The former Governor of Alaska is making a speech and signing copies of her book today, but the media won't be invited. Palin spent a few seconds speaking with a couple of reporters Sunday before she was whisked away. The former VP candidate was mobbed by fans in the infield at the Daytona International Speedway.
"I was very, very disappointed that the media is crucifying her, and I know it's because they're scared to death of her. I know it's because a lot of people respect her views."
Interesting comment:
Palin and Daytona
Here is a report on Palin's appearance, that people might like to know:
Kentucky Colonel
I'd like to share a "report" that I got from Daytona this morning. I have a close friend who is an extremely avid NASCAR fan and has attended the last eighteen Speedweeks in Daytona. He spends the better part of two weeks each year in the campground at the track. His motorhome, bought specifically for traveling to NASCAR races cost three times more than his home.
He called this morning to let me know that he and his wife were pulling out of Daytona this morning headed back to Kentucky. I asked him about Sarah's visit. He told me that the buzz about her visit started the moment they got there and started setting up almost two weeks ago. He said a huge crowd of people started assembling early Sunday morning around the building where they have the drivers meeting. He said most of the people were more excited about the prospects of seeing Sarah than they were at seeing their favorite driver.
You should know that a big part of the infield crowd at the 500 aren't NASCAR newbies and are accustomed to face-to-face enconters with their favorite drivers. Sarah Palin was another matter.
He told me that when they introduced her before the race, she got the biggest cheers by far than anyone else. He said that the people there absolutely loved her. Because he has been almost a fixture at the 500 for so long, my buddy has developed a lot of friendships with many of the teams' crew members. He said that many of them were looking forward to her visit on pit road.
Sounds like to me, her visit there was pretty special.
