Former Illinois Governor George Ryan – now imprisoned after being convicted of federal corruption charges (aren't they all?) – was nominated by Francis A. Boyle, a law professor at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, for his campaign to abolish the death penalty.

Ryan knew he was on the way to spend some TIME...laughs at that one..added to the new Nobel Prize list..a joke the Prize has become!!
