Fox's Family Guy Goes After Trig Palin
Mediaite ^ | 2-14-10

Um…did that really happen? And on Fox? Tonight’s episode featured a “unique” story line where character Chris Griffin was dating a girl with Down’s Syndrome. A dangerous territory for comedy to be sure, that turned ugly, when Ellen (the character with Down’s Syndrome) revealed that her mother was the former governor of Alaska. Cue deserved outrage…now!

I used to love Family Guy...but the writers/creator has made it too personal with Christians and anyone else who is not a zombie leftist. I am done with it.

Yeah I Just posted this also. As a fan of Family Guy this is disgusting. I hope Sarah rips MacFarlane a new one for this. This was uncalled for, but not a shock, since this is the same guy that made an episode about Lois getting an abortion

Yeh, if you want to see some great political satire watch South Park. They make fun of both sides all the time, did you see the show that came out right after the election? You can catch it for free at SouthParkStudios.com.

I watched bits and pieces of this one tonight, I know they were making fun a McCain/Palin bumper sticker at one point in the program as well.

If Fox and Seth McFarlane want to prove to me how brave and cutting edge - you know, not afraid to take comedic risk - they are, they can have a family guy episode that has Allah with a farm animal, or Mohamed sleeping with young boys. Until they pull that off, I won’t be watching.

It’s too easy to make fun of people who make forgiveness and turning the other cheek central tenants in their spiritual philosophy.

lol I think that was the only thing that made me feel better, after the tragedy that happened the night before. It was very well done.

I seldom watch shows, but this could be a sign that ratings have been diving.

Seth’s funny, but he’s a dirtbag. Not like this is a secret.

South Park is AWESOME. Been watching the show since the beginning. At least when they go after politicians its actually funny. Like the episode about Dancing With Smurfs was HILARIOUS

There is plenty of outrage among us little folks. Sarah doesn’t need to get into the gutter with Seth Mcwhatsit or Rahmbo.

Disgusting, but typical for FG. Used to love this show but had to stop a couple of years ago.

I never know if they are making a satirical point about the hysterically irrational Palin Syndrome or if they are actually afflicted with it themselves. Either way, I see the humor in it and can choose to laugh at them or with them.

Freepers: if you find yourself thinking ‘I don’t have to watch this cr@p’ more and more often, then just cancel the cable TV. You’ll save a lot of money and you can probably still watch some programs with an antenna, and there’s plenty of internet content too...
