Well I have a good friend who went to Occidental and he remembers Barry. Seems he had a knock on his door one night and a fellow he knew was standing there with Barry and said, hey Dave my friend Barry here wants to get high, do you have anything? So he invited them in and they got stoned. He said he remembers Barry rocking back and forth with a big grin talking about “Power, man, it’s all about power.” He hadn’t thought much about it since he never saw him again but when he ran for President he recognized him from that night.

We had Gore’s and Bush’s grad averages plus their SAT’s during their run for office....

This guy (O) has never revealed a single thing from his birth cert to a grade or class standing or degree.

I think his ‘numbers and grades’ are just not high enough to vouch for his brilliance and as we are to see him as some type of genius the facts and the stats might contradict this.

Its all in the ‘image making’.

I think the reason we don’t see the birth certificate it will denote that his mother was unmarried.

What ever their faults...Gore, Bush, Kerry....we had a few ‘facts’, positive or negative as to who they really were.

although I wish the article was true, I havt to reject it on the fact that the author is ignorant of the contraction would've. This, to me, is inexcuseableBR I make lot's of typos myself. But it seemed ironic that you complained about the articles author and made a grammatical mistake in doing so. It happns, er... happens.

I would think most people in politics are extroverts ...or if not have leaned to fake it in order to get ahead. How go you become a politician and not have friends?

I generally try to figure out what the writer is trying to convey, i.e. the point, before I embark on spelling and grammatical correcting...otherwise it sort of like scolding someone who stutters, rather than being patient and trying to understand their point.

I don't really think any Freepers would spell anything wrong, intentionally, do you?

I'll go way out on a limb and make the broad assumption that most FR posters did attend grammar school, at least, as they can write. But, most of us had our fill of spelling tests and drills back then - and even if we didn't learn it all perfectly, we don't really want our every foible to be corrected in front of thousands of posters/readers, either.

That was my point, and I hope I didn't spell anything wrong, or make any typos in making it.

Scary part about Dr. Drew is he tried to get this out before the election, and everyone in the news media was ignoring him, even Fox and talk radio.
