>>>> MEDINA: ... I think some very good questions have been raised in that regard.

Sounds pretty straightforward an answer to me.

No, the "I think some very good questions have been raised" is the opposite of a straight forward answer. It is an answer which allows you to later pretend that the questions aren't really your opinion, but someone else's "interesting" opinion. Straight forward anwers are "Yes", "No" and "I don't know".

Because she believes 9/11 was a inside job , a totally INSANE thing to say

I'm not defending Medina, but I do think it is important to be a little more specific about what 'inside job' means.

There are many things about 9/11 that would qualify it as an 'inside job'.

On Friday, she told reporters she is curious why no New York City police officers died in the towers when so many firefighters did. “

Groan!
Is she a twin to Rosie O'Donnell?

I heard a Shami ad on the radio, with him at the end
saying “I’m Farouk Shami and I approve this message”.

I thought it was a joke, he sounds like a parody of a mideastern guy.

Awesome, you were listening. Okay, did he also say that Medina’s questions were legitimate because they were sanctioned by our government in the 9/11 Commission Report? Did he make any reference to the 9/11 Commission Report?

The KLIF Garland guy who thought Bush was behind the damaged levies in NO?

Not sure about that issue. We were in Baton Rouge after Katrina.

I’ll dig around, going off memory but something like that jumps out (and yea, I realized I spelled “Levees” wrong.)

Straightforward in that she expressed belief in the conspiracy theories. I should have been more exact.

Beck tried to give her a home run ball and she whiffed - twice.

Yes, he mentioned the 9/11 comission report. I was getting ready for work so I didn’t hear the entire segment. Is it on their website?

I live in Texas and I am not upset with Beck! In fact I rather appreciate his asking the question. Of course he had to have some advance knowledge that Mrs. Medina might have leanings in that direction. Why else ask the question?

It happened to Perot, Clayton Williams, Buchanan and the rest of the independent voices.

It happened to Clayton Williams? After the democrat primary, Williams could have taken a three month vacation from the campaign and would have eaily won the gubernatorial election. Instead, he committed one self-inflicted gaffe after another. From his "if it's inevitible you might as well lay back and try to enjoy it" joke to his "hey guys, watch this" set up for the press as he rudely refused to shake Ann Wrinkles' hand, to releasing his tax returns a week before the election, where Ann Wrinkles could define the story for the press (and voters). Nobody had to set Williams up; he self-destructed like Kevin Costner in Tin Cup, throwing away an easy victory for no good reason.

I think part of the problem is that most of us are sick of entrenched politicians-—but it’s hard to find good new ones. Think about it—it takes a different sort of personality to even want to have any say over other peoples’ lives......When someone new does come on the scene who seems to have fresh ideas, I think a lot of us become interested——but this one, as in most cases certainly didn’t work out.

Explain to me her declaration that no NYPC cop died, even as so many firefighters got killed(which is false by the way). She is clearly suggesting that the NYPD cops knew about 9/11 in advance and therefore decided to stay away from the building.
I am sure the widows of all those 60 cops that died at the WTC on 9/11 would be keen to have a word with this woman.
It's a really lucky thing Glenn Beck exposed her before the primaries. Heck, she'd have been clobbered by the Democrats if her lunacy had come out after she had won the primaries.

:) I well understand. She is the anti politician and I wanted to find reasons to vote for her.
Who wouldn’t like to stop paying property taxes?
The problem is she never explained exactly what tax plan she would put in place to replace the revenue, only saying that would be up to the legislature.
She alsowants to eliminate business taxes which I would also love but she doesn’t say where she’d make up the shortfall

In other words to me she is only saying what she knows will be popular. Not good enough to get my vote

>>You want a 9/11 truther serving as Governor of Texas?<<

No, I don't. I am disappointed though. Perry and Hutchison are career politicians with a dash of elitism.

Perry's whole toll road scheme, imminent domain plan and massive TTC debacle.

The plan was/is to build a deep sea port in Mexico, unload goods there and truck them up into the U.S. via Mexican trucks.

This globalist agenda is killing our nation....all for the almighty dollar.

Circumventing American dock workers, truckers and thousands of satellite positions that go to support cargo shipping and delivery.

Perry's tough talk on border control....we all know it's damn lie but we pretend.

Hutchison’s Washington buddies are all behind her now. They to with an agenda.

I'm sorry, I don't trust’em. Not for on minute do I trust either of them.

Hell, look at the Dem side. Shami muzzie and Bill “spend till ya drop” White.

Why can't we ever get viable conservative independents to run in Texas. Always a bozo show.

Gov. Good Hair, Grandma..whatever her name, The Jewish cowboy/comedian. Gezzzzz

not quite.
Didnt he use an executive order type writ to establish the HPV mandate? Then, only after the Texas legislature threatened him with hell on earth, did he rescind it. He never actually listened to the people.

And the TTC? He displayed an arrogance equal only to Obama on that issue. And it aint dead yet...
“Preposterous”

And when Ron Paul himself writes a glowing endorsement of Debra Medina…well, just read it.

I would like to introduce you to a good friend of mine, Debra Medina. I have known Debra for over ten years and have always been impressed by her drive and commitment to principle. Debra has been a real defender of Liberty both in her home town of Wharton and across the state of Texas.

Debra has for years been a key supporter and member of my campaign team. As chairman of the Wharton County Republican Party, she has stood up to the big government establishment and fought to hold our party accountable to our platform and our conservative Texas values. Because of her leadership and organizational skills, I asked Debra to serve on the board of directors of my national grassroots action group, Campaign for Liberty, where she has played an important role in our fight to defend our Constitution.

In addition to her political accomplishments, I am proud of Debra for the person she is. Debra Medina is a loving wife, a home school mother of two talented honor students, and a successful business owner. Debra is a true success story and role model for Texans across our state.

I am proud to call Debra Medina a friend, and as a fellow Texan, I encourage you to get to know her. Debra is exploring a run for higher office and would appreciate your input on her effort.
