Bayh knows what the dems have planned and he knows if he goes against dems fraud he is a goner.

http://bayh.senate.gov/news/in_the_news/article/?id=07d7f47c-98e6-4216-ae9c-a70da00e811b

“My concern is that if reconciliation is used, that will really destroy any prospects for bipartisan cooperation on anything else for the remainder of this year,” Bayh said. “That would be a regrettable state of affairs, something I think the American public would not react well to.”

Wow, this is the most stunning one yet. Bayh is actually somewhat popular in Indiana, especially for a democrat.

I’m guessing he was sick of dealing with the demands from the kook left fringe that he vote for their agenda. Can you imagine the Code Pinko types camping in your office telling you to get with the program?

I believe he sees Sarah’s popularity, even though she quit her job in Alaska...he could do much better on the outside yelling at the RATS while positioning himself to run for the Presidency in 2012.

The only thing Evan lacks is a bow-tie.

Step right up, who is next to stagger the Dems?

Mark Warner? To spend more time with his young family?

Arlen Specter? Owing to poor health?

Hilary Clinton? Concerned about former President Clinton’s health?

“He will be viewed as the moderate outsider.”

Why not vote against Obama and Reid’s piece of crap healthcare bill and get a leg up on the other losers in the US Senate?

I am getting pretty tired of “family politics” as it were. Between widows and daughters and sons of.... we have entirely too many relations in DC. Al Gore Jr., Harold Ford Jr., Moon Babies from LA, Bayh Babies from IN and Biden Begots from DE are polluting the political landscape.

I met a fellow from Indy at the 9-12 Tea Party.

He informed me that the “real” unemployment numbers in the Hoosier State are 15 to 18%.

Biden’s kid is already out.

As the Attorney General of Delaware he wants to focus on crime in the First State.

I really felt that Bayh was genuinely into a spirit of bi-partisanship, as well.

Folks like Warner, Webb, Landrieu and Specter are simply looking out for the next election or a higher office.

Regardless, Bayh never actually bucked the party by voting against them and their whack policies. A true statesman would have made his vote count, when it was needed.

Bayh is the only democrat I can think of who would go on Foxnews and not go into a Bush bashing rant. He actually spoke of the issue being discussed without going into spin mode.

Wait, so Bayh can resign and run for President and he’s not a quitter, but Sarah is? He’s not running...

He is running, running from scandal.

The man was back to film campaign ads and boom he quits. That man is running from his past.
