I’m definately in favor of JD Hayworth here, but I’m a bit concerned about the ACU giving McCain a rating above 80. The guy’s a liberal, for cryin’ out loud!
It was 2008. McCain was running in the GOP primaries for the presidential nomination.
It behooved him to at least "act" like he was conservative.
Go back and review his voting record in 2004 (when he was running for re-election), 2000 (when he first ran for president), 1998 and every six years before that. In an election year, John McCain is a "conservative". Otherwise, he's a bi-partisan hack.
The guy is not a conservative. He's not even a RINO. He's an opportunist. And he needs to be sent home.
