Assuming no mischief, the bills will then head to the House.

The House will be voting on a bunch of gun bills today, so expect another alert later today.

Even the Ruger LCP is down to $300 right now because of the low supply of .380. If I were to get a Kel-Tec pistol, I'd most likely go with the PF-9 in 9mm...or a PLR-16 in .223! Either way, I always have my S&W M&P Compact 9mm with me...always! A .380 or smaller 9mm would be a backup.

My next gun is going to be the Sig Sauer P250 in 45acp and right after THAT, the PLR16! What a great truck & trip gun. On the side, it bears a tiny resemblance to the Han Solo Blaster from Star Wars. Gonna be tricky to find a drop holster for it, though. Anybody have any ideas?

Have you seen the NEW Kel Tec pistol? They call it the PMR-30 and it's a .22WMR with a whopping 30rd capacity! That looks like a gun that gives the definition to the word "FUN!" It's supposed to handle all brands of 22 magnum which is a problem many predecessors suffered from -- being ammo picky.

Pretty slick! It visually reminds me of an FN Five-Seven. I'm thinking this is a good pick for someone who wants an adequate self-defense weapon but doesn't want to deal with a lot of recoil.
