Except I'm not guessing. There is a wealth of factual info on the two people who created this scheme and duped the younger, more naive do-gooders into complicity.

Let's start with the fact that they have no orphanage in the DR although claiming to have a brand new one with a school was crucial to their effort.

Let's add the fact that many of the children were not even orphans and have been reunited with family.

Add that Silsby and partner lied about DR documents providing "authorization".

There is much more but there is no guessing.
