Well, he could try running as an independent. Then he could poll .0001%.

Or he could run as a democrat.

Okay, okay.......it was sarcasm. Sue me.

I do appreciate your loyalty to your candidate, and I do like Hunter, I just think he's never, ever going to make a splash. As good a man as he is, he doesn't have a track record besides being a congressman, he comes off as dull, he has no strong backers, and in this day and age that's simply a no go running for president.

You make good points. I also seem to remember another negative was that Hunter turned out to be the ‘stalking horse’ for the Huckster too.

Hunter Endorses Huckabee

Ok, my tongue is in my cheek (a little), but absolutely EVERYTHING about the 2008 GOP Primary was beyond awful. I’ve expressed this opinion before - NO ONE who ran in 2008 should be allowed to run again. They couldn’t beat McQueeg!

It’s not loyalty to Hunter, it’s loyalty to conservatism. There are others that I would gladly support. DeMint, Pence, King, Inhofe to name a few. I just will never trust guys with a mediocre record who get the Road to Des Moines discovery of conservatism. We have not had a conservative since Reagan. And before that, Coolidge. That is incomprehensible for a party that is supposed to be conservative.
