It's even simpler than that. We DO understand that ANYTHING the government touches, takes over or tries to improve instantly turns to SH!T. Is there anything in your daily life you would want the federal government doing for you, other than national defense, controlling our borders and providing a common currency?

——yes, and I won’t even mention the irony of how badly they’ve done THOSE essentials in the last couple of decades.
They, of course, are very “Good/Bad” about doing EVERYTHING ELSE.
