The White House announced the declaration Friday night. It applies to the record snowstorm on Dec. 18-20. Is this serious? The snow in December was deep but very light and easy to shovel. It disappeared in a few days.

"Is this serious? The snow in December was deep but very light and easy to shovel. It disappeared in a few days." The snow has for the most part been cleared. The previous two weeks were the most difficult. My street finally saw one of those "bulldozer" machines push the remaining snow off to the curb so cars could be parked on the street. The "disaster" was two to three week ago. Obongo is a little late on this one.
