Gov. Charlie Crist and other governors were at the White House this evening for a dinner. The following is a press "pool" report:
Governors and first spouses from around the country were in black-tie attire in the State Dining Room. Gov. Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota was seated to the right of FLOTUS (First Lady Michelle Obama).
In the back row: Gov. Charlie Crist of Florida – well beyond hugging range – at Table 3 with Govs. Bobby Jindal of Louisiana and Mike Beebe of Arkansas, and Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner.
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger of Calif. sat beside Wisconsin Gov Jim Doyle, with Interior Sect. Salazar two seats to Arnold’s right, and the two governors clicked glasses at the toasts.
Obama opened with a joke: “This is not too stiff of an affair, because last year, Ed Rendell led a conga line. We still have photographs that we may use."

I wonder how the Baked Alaska snuck its way on to the menu. I’d think someone would put the kibosh on that one.

I have a plastic squeeze lemon. I’ll bring that and we can pretend there’s fresh lemon in the kool-aid. ;^)
Yeah... gotta have the lemon. Each and every item on my menu represents symbolically what I think of the politico class.
Tuna = the smell their policies emit
Weenies and beans = self descriptive and the beans contribute to their odorous policies
Baloney - descriptive that applies to all they spout.
Kool aid - as in what they are all drinking
Lemon just helps to ease the smell... yup better keep it in.
