It is also quite stupid...it describes the same timeline as BC. BCE (before common era) just tries to take the relevant part out and ignore it without taking out the dates...quite stupid, or is it just evil? Yes, I think it is evil. They have not done the same for the Roman era, or Greek era or any other era that I am aware of...but they did remove Christ by removing BC/AD. So, that does qualify as evil.
