I don’t understand why you think he got paid off. What proof do you have? There are other candidates in the race who are now beating Reid.

Perhaps it was not money, but rather threats to his family and himself of a serious nature. Many would walk away rather than die for obtaining an office. Do we know? NO.

It won’t help Reid. It will mean fewer candidates to split the anti-Reid vote.

He acknowledges that he has been unable to raise the necessary campaign contributions to mount a viable primary against a crowded field that includes former state GOP chairwoman Sue Lowden, Las Vegas businessman Danny Tarkanian and former Assemblywoman Sharron Angle.

I don’t know what’s going on here either. I’ve met Lowden, Tarkanian and Krolicki (he dropped out). While a lot of people think Harry is dead, my insiders say he will not drop out for any reason. Therefore, you can’t just be a pretty face and walk into the seat because even a lame Reid will have a sizeable warchest, which imposes a huge fundraising barrier for lesser candidates. Chachas would have to spend a lot of his own money (probably over $3mil to get going). Lowden may be the most financially secure. Doesn’t matter who the best candidate is if they don’t have the green stuff to burn.

Rumor is there will be a book coming out soon.

huh? I don’t understand that statement at all. Reid is getting beat by any and all Republicans polled but only two are considered frontrunners in this race. Lowden and Tarkanian. I favor the latter.

This guy withdrawing is due to lack of funds and the fact polls show several others doing better in the primary.

Bad headline and first column of the article. This guy is a Republican, one of four (or more) and he was a long way from challenging Reid since he’d have to win the Republican nomination first.

[I would hope that a dead coyote would poll ahead of Harry Reid...]

Trust me, a lot of dirt will be showing up on Harry, it will be fun to watch.

The thing is, we can’t just beat Harry, he has to be absolutely destroyed, his political corpse hung from lampost for all to see. Harry and Barry and Nan have tried to destroy the country.

Having 3 or 4 others ahead of him, in the race to challenge Harry, might have had something to do with it too.

Sen. Scott Brown (R -Mass)<(I just got a letter from him thanking me for my “generous contribution”) BIG MISTAKE!

ALL POLITICIANS ARE BOUGHT OFF OR BRIBED OFF! Money in a freezer, Louisiana purchase, Sen. Ben Nelson (D-Corn Huckster State), the list goes on and on. I’m so F-ING disgusted with all politics I hope China buys this rat infested cess pool and all americans get the “CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN”...

a bicycle and a hat with a bright red star on it. America deserves what it voted for.

With luck, Randy “Duke” Cunningham will live out his 8 years and 4 months to grow old in the crap he helped create taking bribes.

Brown really pisses me off though. What a backslider! To vote to flush more of my kids and grandkids future down the worthless 0bama crapper called a jobs bill that will destroy more jobs than NAFTA ANA GATT combined!. Give me a break. I regret sending him anything.

Suspect all politicians!
