Two people were shot when a man opened fired on a group of students waiting outside a Colorado middle school Tuesday afternoon, KDVR.com reported. One person was in custody. A Deer Creel Middle School student who witnessed the shooting in Littleton said a man with long blonde hair, wearing a hat fired at least two shots. "From what I could see he was older, not like a teenager," the student, who was only identified by her first name, told the station. "It sounded like fireworks. It was a very big gun, looked like a rifle." One victims was rushed to a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest and the other reportedly sustained a gunshot wound to the arm, according to KDVR.com. Officials say the two victims are expected to survive. The school is about 3 miles southwest of Columbine High School, the site of one of the deadliest school shootings.

Banning guns doesn’t work because those determined to use them will get them. They already know that what they’re doing is illegal and already don’t care. Doing something else illegal isn’t going to stop them.

I've lived in SE Denver and Arapaho county for thirty-five years. The confusion is from DEmonRat "Revenue sharing" by zip code. The reporters do not have a clue as to what they are reporting. This is especially irritating to me as my sons attended Thank You.

Yes, we have the names now. I was responding to someone who posted before the names were given and who was guessing the shooter might be one of “two minorities”. I don’t know if American Indian was one of the two minorities the poster was talking about. I myself don’t know if the shooter is American Indian. Just guessing.
Paige, actually IMO the teacher may be what I call a Real or True Liberal & a Hero. The confusion propagated by the commentaria of Liberal with Leftist is a problem. We need a discussion of the terms Liberal, Conservative, Traditionalist, Progressive, Collectivist, Statist, etc. Better thinking should define these tags. I prefer Christian American, Constitutionalist, Indiviualist, True Liberal, etc...Thanks for reading.
