Wasn’t used. This was the birth of the “Gang of 14”, spearheaded by election-time conservative McCain, and ultimate rule-changer Sheets Byrd.

It was referring to judicial filibusters of Bush’s nominees. A majority wanted to approve them, but the Democrats insisted on 60. Now that it’s reversed, the Rats want to change the rules...again...if I recall, their wanting to change the rules to fit themselves is the reason the number is now AT 60, down from 2/3 (thank you, Sheets Byrd).

No, to the Republican's credit they DID NOT go nuclear!!! The Dems were going on and on...and this was concerning Presidential appointments...not the bigger stuff, which is legislation.

'So as it stands now, the Dems want to GO NUCLEAR with the biggest, most far reaching legislative change since Roosevelt.

Present Democrat Party hypocrisy know no bounds! It's off the charts.
