I knew I was going to get into trouble that is way I used the quotes. Obviously you are right but I was thinking even the Bible has stories about the devil as an active character in events interacting with people, God and Jesus.

It had nothing to do with the quote marks... it had everything to do with the language. Let's take out the quote marks and read it...
... even the Book of Job is [a] deal with the devil story.
Now, let's compare the language with this phrase...
... even the Book of Job is an interaction with the devil story.
Those two phrases mean two completely different things. I would agree with the second one, but not the first one... :-)
Jesus was offered a deal by the devil, and turned it down.
The student could have written about that passage.
