Give them all some Sodom and Gomorrah brand tissues.....
It’s a sorry state of affairs when one pervert can prevent an entire congregation from receiving the Eucharist!
Without the Eucharist, is it still Mass?

Apropos?
Good question - I would argue that it is not.
No, it’s a Service.
No, techniquely, it is not a complete Mass. The Eucharist is a vital part of the Mass. It would be somewhat like only having 3 quarters in a football game (forgive me my seemingly flippant analogy).
The worrisome thing about this is precisely that the German NAZI government dictated to the Luthern Church what they were allowed to preach and teach. (Read Bonhoffer). These things are happening all too frequently.
Look up your redemption draweth nigh
Since when is receiving Communion a civil right?
I guess they still got the Liturgy of the Word, unless this guy messed that up too.
It’s a good job that gays only want to peacefully co-exist. Imagine what it would be like if they were intolerant of opposing opinions.
With the Dutch, nothing surprises me anymore.
Thank you. I had no idea that Calvin believed in the Real Presence.
I’ve never heard of anyone stealing Protestant Communion wafers, but I have seen my priest take off down the aisle mid-distribution to retrieve a consecrated Host from a woman who was stealing it. I can only guess at her purpose.
This is just unbelievable.
Proof that sexually deviant marriage is, absolutely, a threat to all faithful.
How do we know that the poor chap didn’t first confess his sins and receive absolution? We are all assuming quite a bit here. Even the priest, no?
Salisbury Cathedral (UK, Anglican) has a side altar with the eucharist reserved in a tabernacle. They clearly believe that something other than mere bread is present.
In this case, the guy seems to have pranced up to the front of the Church claiming that his intrinsically disordered life was in fact good and holy: refusing him Communion would have been perfectly defensible even if he had just stepped out of the confessional.
He would have had to approach the priest for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, no?
