I have warned all in our family to look out for city, county and state law enforcement, because they are looking to increase the revenue stream right now. State, County, City coffers are going broke, so they have to use force of law to confiscate the funds they need to justify their bureaucracy.
My daughter got a so called $20 cell phone ticket for punching the answer/speaker phone button at a stop light and rookie LEO pulled her over... interrogated her... including questions such as: “have you ever been arrested?”... uh NO...”are you sure”... uh, yeah I think I would remember that...”Have you ever committed a felony”... uh... I think I just told you I have never been arrested...

Ticket is not $20. It is packed with “FEES” Total for ticket with court fees is $180!
Just imagine if you are out of work and cannot pay that! It will quickly become a $1500 obligation! They are gunning for us... you better believe it! It’s the bureaucrats (Government employees) against the rest of us, who are not so blessed by Obama.

This happens in NJ all the time with driving tickets. I've never seen it it happen like it did to this woman but I put nothing past NJ politicians.

On a technicality, I suppose one could have committed a felony without having been arrested. Self-incrimination at that point would hopefully be avoided, at least by the more shrewd felons, that is... ;-)
