Yes and many of these types are beyond redemption. They've bet the farm (so to speak) on AGW and for them to retract or even moderate their views would be a crushing blow to their own perception of their intellect. It would take Glaciers rapidly advancing southward in the Northern Hemisphere for them to change their minds and I'm not even sure that would do it. No amount of evidence will change these people's minds.

There are definitely some shenanigans going on with the claim that the last decade has been “the warmest on record”. For instance Russia claims it’s analysis of Russian temperature data shows no warming, unlike the IPCC analysis.
I’m guessing there are similar problems with the satellite data, particularly given worldwide low temperature and snowfall records over the last year.
