That was the most aptly put statement I’ve heard here in a while. How spot on you are...

I refuse to believe that this is a correct quote from O'Donnell.
I doubt she even knows what a douche is.

“...However, it takes more than a vagina and a compelling personal narrative to win the feminist vote.....”
Since when? It worked for Sonia Sotomayor.

Believe what you want.
I really don't care.

Hey, if Sarah Palin can bring an end to feminism, I'd say that's even more of an accomplishment than being president. You seem to have gotten the point of the piece precisely backwards, sarcastic as it was.
To: Cobra64
Dude it was a joke. The reference to Rosie not knowing what a douche is was supposed to clue you in.
Some folks are seriously wound too tight.

She appeared a hypocrite not once but twice in recent days Everyone is a "hypocrite" who isn't a marxist. It's the left's favorite word. Even more liked than "racist".

Is this a not so subtle way of slamming Gov. Perry. If I am not mistaken, Gov. Palin endorsed Perry.

“Equality is here at long last when an incompetent woman can rise through the ranks to join many of the incompetent men already occupying public office and pundit chairs.”
Nope. Nobody can match Obama when it comes to incompetency.

This is a false issue and a red herring. It isn’t the gender or the race that matters; it’s the heart and the mind.

This is a false issue and a red herring. It isnt the gender or the race that matters; its the heart and the mind. Typical conservative: judging people by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin or by the configuration of their reproductive organs.

(Is this the ultimate anti-Palin screed?)I think that the author probably that thought she was managing a clever bit of "damning with faint praise"....
...but it just comes across as nervous tittering, from a woman who's quite afraid that Palin will win.

They come in 'metro' versions too.

You nailed it! Spot on.

Not sure if she ever ‘found Palin to be a dream’ but Camille Paglia seems to respect, if not admire, Mrs P.
