Steve McIntyre at Climate Audit also made a very concise and damning submission as well.

As the science report points out, open availability of data and communications is all important, as well as careful vetting of conclusions.
I am reminded of reports on Sunken Civ’s Catastrophism ping list about the likelihood of a major boloid event in the Northern Hemisphere about 13,000 years ago. Explains the disappearance of Clovis culture and the Younger Dryas 1,000 year cooling. Probably still highly controversial, although Firestone et al. have written a very interesting book that outlines the science in easily readable terms. [Sorry, don’t remember the name, darn these senior moments.] At any rate it is against scientific orthodoxy and, no doubt, will only slowly gain general agreement.
