Am I the only one who did not know he had a drinking problem?

You’re not the only one, verity—I had no idea. Did doctors really recommend that he cut back on drinking?

Over the past year or so, I've seen minor reports that indicated that both Obamas drank a little too much.

But the real piece of information is that yesterday when the health report first came out, it had two basic messages:

1) Cut back on the smoking
2) Moderate your drinking.

But today it's quite different. Today, the best summary of the doctor's report would appear to be: "slightly elevated cholesterol".

The propaganda ministry has swung into action and is protecting our drunkard in chief.

It’s news to me also. Maybe a little exaggeration and sarcasm going on. Obama does not strike me in any way as an alcoholic.

I didn't know. Where did you get the info? Oh, and President Bush was in perfect health because he was not a glutton on the taxpayers dime. All those well known chefs fixing exotic food for his and her great pleasure. Maybe if he had a good puke between courses like Caesar did, he could get those numbers down a bit. And, lay off the pate de fois gras (sp).
