These days when when anyone says something is robust, you can be pretty sure it's pure drivel. Obama likes that word.

For the reality-oriented, it's become a red flag: if "robust" is mentioned, someone is lying.

I remember one used car lot who used to advertise like that on the radio, it went something like,
"I guess if there's anything I can afford to give you, it's my word, and my word is my bond."
I made sure never to go NEAR that place, the ad creeped me out.
