How to take a break from the Hopey-Changey by watching Sarah Palin and Jay Leno
Ann Arbor Examiner ^ | March 1, 2010 | Kevin Fobbs

The American late-night icon Jay Leno will be welcoming Sarah Palin on the second night of his comeback week. Whether you like Palin or not she and Leno will be entering into millions of American homes on Tuesday night as The Tonight Show re-launches with its old host. The howls from her political and social detractors who feel that maybe, just maybe, this political dynamo just might have the right stuff to stir a nation much in the same way that Ronald Reagan – another down-home governor – convinced the doubters and naysayers of his rugged commitment to a new morning in America have already started.

After all it was just over a year earlier when a new president had been sworn in and many in the upper elite of the liberal Washington punditry felt Sarah Palin had been summarily dismissed from our national consciousness…or so they wished.

Now a year-plus later, “Sarah Who” is now “Sarah Wow.” Like President Reagan who rose from the wreckage ...

Join the writers guild and then write Leno some funny conservatives jokes, and if you lack the talent, commission one of your funny friends... Leno is only going to repeat the jokes he is given.

Where is Foxworthy get his material? Maybe Leno should start looking for material from the same place as Foxworthy.

Is the China poo a Foxworthy reference? What I am wondering is how conservatives can get into the comedy business. Good comedy is the best form of ridicule, because the ridiculed is not offended as long as the comedy is good.

No. I made up the term China-poo. They sometimes use human excrement as fertilizer. Their seafood has tested positive for excrement. So instead of food from China. I call it China-poo. Course I was raised in a county full of rednecks, so I appreciate that type of humor.LOL

Besides his writers, Leno’s wife Mavis is a well-known Hollywood “activist”.....a lib, in other words.

In spite of his old and one-sided jokes, I, too, like Leno better than Letterman, who I wouldn’t watch if they paid me.

Nearly impossible to watch Leno. I’ll catch Sarah on Leno on YouTube the next day. Leno is a snoozefest. No way I’m stayin’ up for that.

I saw Jay’s “new and improved” tonight show tonight.

I really wish they'd get rid of Leno, and move Jimmy Fallon into that time slot. I think he's funnier, and more talented. I like his "thank you notes" slot, and when he dresses up and does skits and funny songs. Also, when he has competitions with his guests, it's usually pretty entertaining.

If his wife is a liberal activist, then he is not a closet conservative, he is a Narnian conservative.
