Passes...doesn’t pass...it’s a lot of time wasted on an issue *other* than reforming our economy so that an economic recovery can finally begin.
The healthcare bill won’t even begin coverage for years, so the GOP will have plenty of time to repeal it after they regain power.
By the way, “Waterloo” had a winner (Wellington) and a loser (Napoleon)...makes for a bad analogy.
But they won't.
The US economy does not need “reforming.” It needs sound economic policy, less uncertainty and government out of the way.
“The GOP will have plenty of time to repeal it after they regain power.”
Sure, the coverage won’t begin for years...but the money starts coming out now.
People are going to be billed for four (4) years (or go directly to jail) before they derive a single benefit from it. THIS is going to enrage those who are just scraping by for their existence. IF they pass it in their usual back door middle of the night shady manner (no matter what method they use to shove it down our throats), it will be the sorriest thing democrats have ever done and you can bet that after being docked for three years before the next election and getting NADA for their money, people are going to be ticked off royally - and all the fancy words coming out of a teleprompter won't mean squat.
