“I was glad Obama had won and McCain had lost.”
I stopped reading right there.
I didn’t like McCain before he ran for president, I didn’t like him while he was running for president and I don’t like him now... I want him to disappear.
However, being glad that that white hating socialist, hell bent on America’s destruction, is bedbug crazy.
Precisely. This is why it is counterproductive to hold the nose and vote for the lesser of two evils. It's a slower death but a death march none the less. Sometimes you have to take a step backwards to move forward. BHO was a step backwards but it will allow us to move forward.
I have to agree with the author on this. If 9/11 - a surprise attack that claimed more lives than Pearl Harbor - was insufficient to wake up America (as proved to be the case), then it's apparent we needed the bitter taste that comes from flirting with communism.
As a nation it is possible we may not survive that flirtation, however for me it's better to perish in battle than to continue eternally "Slouching Towards Gomorrah".
So now we have OBAMA. (screaming heard!). But we have something else, we have a LIBERTY BELL RINGING LOUDLY WAKING UP THE POPULATION. The alarm has been sounded ... under McCain, the alarm would have been silent. So now battle lines are being drawn, Americans ...in droves ... are buying up Constitution learning books and going to classes, etc. We are going to PUSH THEM BACK HARD in this next election and in the process maybe many "on-the-fence Independents" who voted for HOPE AND CHANGE and a bunch of numb Republicans that stayed home will not STAND UP FOR SOMETHING AND DO SOMETHING RIGHT for a change.
It is unfortunate we needed to get Obama to wake up. American people tend to sleep as the attack is coming (as with Pearl Harbor) ... but they do finally wake up angry. Obama was the wake-up for Conservatism.
