White House officials tell ABC News that in his remarks tomorrow President Obama will suggest that if it is necessary, Democrats will use the controversial "reconciliation" rules requiring only 51 Senate votes to pass the "fix" to the Senate bill, as opposed to the 60 votes to stop a filibuster and proceed to a vote on a bill.

I remember that and wondered if it was legal.
This is where Obama lights the match that burns the USA down to it’s very foundation. The scorched earth strategy is going to be messy but he is accepting that he is a one-term President.
He is just following through on his promise to “fundamentally change” this country.

Sure, the GOP can use this to win an election. But they aren't going to get enough votes in the Senate to be able to repeal it over the President's veto until 2013. And they simply won't have the cojones to do it after all.
Waiting for November isn't the option. We conservatives need to kill the bill now.
Why not use reconciliation to repeal the reform. Turn about is fair play.

You need 67 votes to override a veto.
So the Rats’ talking points is that it should only take a “simple majority” of Congress to take over 1/6 of the US economy when 75% of the people are against it.
My question to Obooger is this: Will you veto it if the “simply majority” of Congress repeal it with the backing of 75% of the people?

I thought there was an manuever where Republicans could introduce an essentially unlimited number of ammendments if they went to the reconciliation process. Republican senators need to know that we will consider it an equal betrayal if they back down and play nice while the democrats pervert the legislative process and destroy our country. If the Democrats try this, the Republican leadership has to stand up and use every conceivable parliamentary weapon to shut the place down so that absolutely nothing gets accomplished until new elections can be held.

By bypassing the normal legislative process, reconciliation effectively renders Republican senators useless. They need to start using every trick in the book to shut down the Senate.
Why not a Spring Break rally. Schools out, weather better, time to have a two million tea party march.
