BOSTON (Associated Press) -- Once and possibly future Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney says in a new book that President Barack Obama's international outreach efforts during his first year in office have been "kindling" to the "anti-American fires burning all across the globe."
In a wide-ranging policy book none-too-subtly titled "No Apology: The Case for American Greatness," Romney says the Democrat's efforts to reconcile with foreign powers, Muslims and others angered by President George W. Bush's administration have weakened the country's stature instead of enhancing it.

What get to me is how the media treats this rino. With kid gloves! Once again, trying to impose their candidate on us conservatives.

Rather than attack freerepublic, why not just make your sales pitch for Romney.

I just wish he’d go away. Even Nobama could beat him in ‘012.

What a refreshing change it would be for some freeper to buy the book, read the whole thing, and actually talk about the ideas presented in the book in a factual and reasonable way, pro and con, rather than, well, rather than what you already see going on.If Obama was coming out with a book....would you be saying the same thing?

Obviously you really don't know what Bain Capital was all about...or what Mr. Romney did there...OR, you are attempting to deflect.
Funny...how that's a repeating MO with you and others that defend Romney.

You wanted to know about Bain Capital, so I sent you a link to their web page. Just as my law firm has a page, it says exactly what is done.

I read the book review. He sounds like Sarah Palin in his positions, except his health care proposal, which she would likely say, not just no, but Hell no.
Plus she can shoot guns.....

Just the part about guns, which is also true, she's supposed to be a fairly good hunter.
I do think that Romney Care is kind of a stumbling block, a sign of big government tendencies, rather than Reagan's (and Palin's) reliance on markets.

“In a nutshell, he was the head of Bain Capital, which raised capital for businesses.”
I hang out with a number of people who operate at Mitts level of capital management. In a nutshell these guys are slicker then any used car saleman and the only difference is connections.
With Mitts family connections it put an obvious slickster in a position to make himself and others wealthy. Not a bad thing at all. He’s exactly like the guys I know who put capital and projects together.
But his qualifications as a conservative leader are no better then Obamas or Bill Clinton. They are all great salesmen but not at all the people they claim to be.

What’s really funny is that too a guy like Mitt this cartoon does not bother him a bit.
I work with people just like him and they are proud of their ability to bend facts and truth like a pretzel.

Mitt’s doing all the “RIGHT” things — so why do I still not trust him as far as I could throw him?
