Seriously, I think a civil war in this country is inevitable. The only things in question are when and what starts it. The divide is too wide and hatred too great.

This could very well by the exact point that starts the next Civil War. I would rather that than capitulation, and becoming a serf.
With all resistance/insurrections someone has to start the action. IMO, that will be the key. Will anyone be willing to take the chance of going down alone if no one rises up with them?
