The wide-open-door we've been living with since the nutjobs elected back in 1964 gave us the execrable immigration bill of 1965, has become more of an economic drag than illegal immigration.
We know all about the bogus "But then who will pick the lettuce?" argument. A sane policy on both "legal" (a la Canada) and illegal (a la Mexico) immigration is FAR overdue.

I’m from the Southeast. We already have a great percentage of non-productive people who are committing unspeakable genocide against us. We have no-go areas. At least the first generation Mexicans I see are hard workers. It is OUR schools which are ruining their children.
