I was cutting the rug
Down at a place called The Jug
With a girl named Linda Lu
When in walked a man
With a gun in his hand
And he was looking for you know who.
He said, “Hey there fellow,
With the hair colored yellow,
Watcha tryin’ to prove?
‘Cause that’s my woman there
And I’m a man who cares
And this might be all for you.”
I was scared and fearing for my life.
I was shakin’ like a leaf on a tree.
‘Cause he was lean, mean,
Big and bad, Lord,
Pointin’ that gun at me.
I said, “Wait a minute, mister,

As the water fell on the floor.
And I’m telling you son,
Well, it ain’t no fun
Staring straight down a forty-four.
Well he turned and screamed at Linda Lu
And that’s the break I was looking for.
And you could hear me screaming a mile away
As I was headed out towards th

They called in the Navy instead: "were responded to by a coalition warship that was also within the vicinity. The warship informed Linda Lou that they were sending a helicopter to their location. The yacht upped its hp and continued underway until the helicopter arrived, within six minutes as promised, and handled the situation from there, with the skiffs retreating."

Bad news in the story is that the military helicopter chased the pirates off instead of blowing them out of the water.

Yeah, nice little boat. Let him spend his own money, though, defending it instead of calling in military support.

To prevent pirate attacks the ship had countermeasures including barbed wire, a LRAD (long range acoustical device) and a designated safe room.Personally, I'm a big fan of the Ma Deuce "countermeasure"

I can’t figure out why they don’t just take out the skiffs and the mothership too, if it’s that obvious what they’re up to.

Not clear what happened from the article, but the skiffs and the mother ship should be resting on the sea floor.
