NEW YORK (AP) — Sarah Palin is ready for the next chapter of her publishing career.

Publisher HarperCollins announced Wednesday that the former Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential candidate is working on a "celebration of American virtues and strengths." The book is currently untitled and no release date has been set.

Palin's memoir, "Going Rogue," released last fall by HarperCollins, has sold more than 2 million copies. Her new work will "include selections from classic and contemporary readings that have inspired her, as well as portraits of some of the extraordinary men and women she admires and who embody her love of country, faith, and family," the publisher's statement reads.

So, is this a policy book? I think Palin supporters are ready for her to publish some policy prescriptions. Not in boring, bulleted detail points mind you, but just a generalization of what she wants America to do. Maybe it’ll be in this new book.

I’m thinking this is a policy book plus a book detailing regular hard working Americans that she looks up to. I am excited, this sounds like its gonna be a great book, looking forward to it

I think the policy book will come out closer to election
time. Still, this will give a good picture of who and what
Sarah admires .

The presidential election begins right after the mid-terms.
If Sarah's going to release a policy book, now's the time to do it.

LOL...nah, saw the article posted at C4P.

Everyone seems to think a policy book is a prerequisite for being elected president but I'm having trouble coming up with a lot of examples of that in the last 50 or 60 years.

Frankly, as someone elsewhere pointed out, this effort sounds a little like the concept of JFK's "Profiles In Courage".

Did you not read the first book. It’s all in there. Can you not think for yourself? You know what needs to be done.

You are a regular citizen too. Where’s your policy book?

If you read her book, you’d know where she stands policy wise. Even Rush called it one of the most substantive- high books he’s ever read.

It is substantative...well, written, easy to understand and take away where she stands on the issues, and how you can predict she will stand on future occurences. I was (and still am) very impressed by Going Rogue.

Rush’s recommendation also led me to Mark Levin’s ‘Liberty and Tyranny.’ Also an excellent, though more text book like, read.

I recommend BOTH...elRushbo has not let me down.
