When the news of the New Israel Fund (NIF) paying around $8 million to organizations that provided the Goldstone Report with all its condemnations of Israel, it was clear that the New Israel desired by the New Israel Fund is one with more than 9 years of consistent rocket fire.
Our organization, Sderot Media Center (SMC), with a yearly budget of close to $200,000, worked tirelessly on a formal report that was requested by the Goldstone Commission itself, which encompassed the impact of the rocket fire on the residents of the Sderot region. We sent this formal report accompanied by photographs and videos to depict to this UN committee, which did not visit Sderot, what it is like to live under either daily rocket fire or the threat of daily rocket fire over the course of then eight years. The Goldstone Committee then flew our director, Noam Bedein, to the UN Headquarters in Geneva to give a 30-minute presentation/testimony in front of the committee on this daily reality lived in Sderot.
The New Israel Fund paid around $8 million to organizations that provided information to the Goldstone Report. As a cited provider of information for the Goldstone Report, I guess our New Israel Fund check got lost in the mail?

(IsraelNN.com) The Knesset's Constitution, Law and Justice Committee voted Wednesday to appoint a special subcommittee to inquire into the matter of contributions to Israeli NGOs from foreign governments and organizations. The decision comes after research by the Im Tirtzu movement, which found that the New Israel Fund finances most of the Israeli NGOs which testified against Israel in the Goldstone Committee.
The nationalist members in the committee voted in favor of Committee Chairman David Rotem's motion for establishing the subcommittee. MKs Danny Danon, Tzipi Hotobeli and Carmel Shama of Likud were joined by Michael Ben Ari (National Union) and Uri Makleb (United Torah Judaism). Shlomo Mula and Yisrael Hasson of Kadima voted against the motion, as did Dov Chenin (Hadash) and Taleb A-Sana (Raam-Taal).
MK Danny Danon said that the committee will have to act swiftly in order to remove the strategic threat that the New Israel Fund poses to Israel. (Excerpt) Read more at israelnationalnews.com ...
Thanks for posting; never saw this news outlet before and I’ve bookmarked it.
Checked the NIF website for their source of funding. Among the 2008 donors giving $100,000 or more was the Open Society Institute, which is one of George Soros’ fronts. Sadly, the Ford Foundation was also in that “big donor” list. Even sadder was the predominance of Jewish last names in all levels of donors.
If youd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.
